Love Actually

LOVE ACTUALLY

Review: In this film it follows eight different stories of couples each trying to cope with their love lives just before Christmas in London.
Director: Richard Curtis
Actors: Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Keira Knightley, Laura Linney, Kris Marshall, Rowan Atkinson and Emma Thompson
Year: 2003
Genre: Comedy and Romance
Conclusion: 5/5
My favorite Christmas film! Watch it every year at Christmas and never get bored of it! The scene where Colin goes up to the caterer and insults her food at the wedding was originally going to be used for Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral but ended up being cut from the film. Joanna – Sam’s crush did all her singing herself for the Christmas Concert at the end. The production designer and Richard Curtis were given a two hour tour by Gordon Brown of No.10. The word “Actually” is used 22 times. In 2004 Bill Nighy won an Oscar for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role.
