‘I KNOW WHERE I’M GOING!’
Review: Joan Webster is due to marry a wealthy middle-aged man in Scotland. While she is on her way up the weather starts getting really windy so decides to stay in a place on the Isle of Mull. The only problem is she meets a man there and they both fall in love.
Director: Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger
Actors: Wendy Hiller and Roger Livesey
Year: 1945
Genre: Drama, Romance and Classic
Conclusion: 4/5
Directed by two of the most famous directors. They both worked on The Red Shoes andThe Black Narcissus which are classic films. When this was passed through to the BBFC to get a rating they made some cuts to it. What cuts they did I do not know. This is probably on my list as one of the best British films ever to me made. This is listed in Barry Norman’s top 100 favorite films and also his top 50 Greatest British Films that was published in the Radio Times.
