Sightseers

SIGHTSEERS

Review: Chris shows Tina his world. This involves the Crich Tramway Museum and the Keswick Pencil Museum. On their travels things start to take a wrong turn.
Director: Ben Wheatley
Actors: Kenneth Hadley, Alice Lowe and Steve Oram
Year: 2012
Genre: Adventure and Comedy
Conclusion: 3/5
A really funny black comedy. It did take me a bit by surprise as to how rude it was. I wasn’t expecting such strong language. There are scenes in it that are very disturbing. I would have liked to have seen more of the museums that they visited. Well directed by Ben Wheatley. One film critic wrote “Sightseers is a brilliantly grim and reasonably amusing comedy that is also wonderfully unpredictable and constantly pushing unforeseen circumstances”.
