Safe House

SAFE HOUSE

Review: Matt Weston is a young CIA agent. His task is to look after an escapee in a safe house. The house gets attacked and he soon finds himself on the run.
Director: Daniel Espinosa
Actors: Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds
Year: 2012
Genre: Mystery and Action
Conclusion: 2/5
A forgettable action film. The first half was good and got your attention. After the first half it was all shooting and things going ‘bang’ all the time. It lost its way a little. For me I have seen and heard it all before. Not Denzel Washington’s best film. One film critic wrote “It’s a flashy film, but in the end, Safe House is a dull, lifeless, noisy bore”.
