OKA!
Review: This film tells the story of an American author named Louis Sarno. It is based on when he went out to live with the Bayaka Pygmies in Central Africa for over 20 years.
Director: Lavinia Currier
Actors: Kris Marshall, Peter Riegert and Haviland Morris
Year: 2011
Genre: Drama
Conclusion: 4/5
To me this film isn’t recognized enough. A brilliant film. It is really unusual and it was great to see something so different. The director has actually met the real Louis Sarno. She was doing some research on the Pygmy Ota Benga and she hired him as a translator. This film is slow to get started but once you are into it you will love it!
