Review: Hugo is a little boy who is an orphan who lives in a railway station. He goes on a mission to unlock a secret left to him by his Father. This will change him and everyone around him. This film is set in 1930’s Paris.

A film that the whole family can enjoy. Brilliant acting. Jude Law doesn’t have much of a part to play in the film. Martin Scorsese has done a fantastic job creating amazing visual effects and a unique atmosphere. This was Martin Scorsese’s first PG rated film in 18 years and also his first feature film in 12 years not starring Leonardo DiCaprio. In 2012 at the Academy Awards it won 5 Oscars. They were Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Visual Effects. At the Bafta Awards it won Best Production Design and Best Sound. Martin Scorsese won a Golden Globe Award for Best Director-Motion Picture.
