Going the Distance

GOING THE DISTANCE

Review: Erin and Garrett meet in the summer and start going out. It starts off to be a summer fling but things start to develop into something more serious. After 6 weeks they find they don’t want to be apart. She is from San Francisco and he is from the New York City. Can they keep the relationship going?
Director: Nanette Burstein
Actors: Drew Barrymore and Justin Long
Year: 2010
Genre: Comedy and Romance
Conclusion: 1/5
This is just such a terrible film. I don’t know why they bothered making it. You got the feeling that the cast and crew didn’t enjoyed making it and I also felt that no one even got on with each other. It reminded me a bit of the film “Like Crazy” especially with the long distance relationship.  It was agony to watch!!! One film critic wrote “A long haul”.
