Dream House

DREAM HOUSE

Review: Will Atenton is a successful publisher who lives in Manhattan. He decides to leave his job and relocate his family to New England. As they start to settle in they soon discover that the house that they are living in was a murder scene of a mother and her children.
Director: Jim Sheridan
Actors: Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts
Year: 2011
Genre: Drama and Thriller
Conclusion: 3/5
One film that involves a lot of concentration. You have to really follow the story line in order to find out at the end what happens. It has a twist right at the end. I have had to explain it quite a few times to people who have just completely missed the ending. Daniel Craig acts really well in this and does his best. It is one of his best films to me. This film was done on a very low budget. This is the film where Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz met and got together. This film has been slated by all of the film critics but I quite enjoyed it. When Daniel Craig was asked about this film he replied “The movie didn’t turn out great. But I met my wife. Fair trade”.
