Director: Philippe Falardeau
Actors: Mohamed Fellag, Sophie Nelisse, Emilien Neron, Marie-Eve Beauregard, Vincent Millard, Seddik Benslimane, Louis-David Leblanc, Gabriel Verdier, Danielle Proulx, Brigitte Poupart, Jules Philip, Louis Champagne, Francine Ruel, Nicole-Sylvie Lagarde and Andre Robitaille
Year: 2011
Genre: Comedy and Drama
Conclusion: 3/5
I found this to be a very touching, but sad, story. I enjoyed the musical score by Martin Léon. Mohamed Fellag is fantastic. The best child actor I thought is Sophie Nelisse. In the late Roger Ebert’s review he quotes about this film “it has no simple questions and simple answers. Its purpose is to present us with a situation, explore the people involved and show us a man who is dealing with his own deep hurts”.
