Conclusion: 4/5
Two incredible performances from Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh. I got the impression that they both enjoyed working together. I found this to be a totally engaging film. A film that shouldn’t work but does. At the beginning I found it to be very confusing but I felt it made more sense as the film progressed. A lovely charming film which I thoroughly enjoyed. When the time came for the film’s premier Florence Pugh couldn’t make it so Andrew Garfield brought a life-sized cut-out of her to fill her absence. The themes in this are love and sacrifice.
