Year: 2025
Genre: Biography and Drama
Conclusion: 3/5
Apparently, the scene where Philip Burton takes Rich Jenkins to the top of the hill actually happened. In my view Toby Jones cannot do a bad performance and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him. Lesley Manville I also thought was superb. I have to say that I did not recognise Aneurin Barnard. I think that Harry Lawtey has the most difficult part as he is learning throughout the film of how to become a good actor and has to work up. I loved the musical score done by John E. R. Hardy, The BBC National Orchestra of Wales. I did notice at the end of the credits that there was special thanks to Kate Burton daughter of Richard Burton.
