One of the most disturbing films of all time. It remains the most famous short film ever made. A film that was shot over 10 days. As soon as this film was first premiered it immediately became a sensation with directors of the time. Film critic Mark Kermode quoted: “Arguably the most celebrated work of surrealist cinema, a satirical gem which, when I first saw it at the Museum of the Moving Image as an unsuspecting young film fan, caused me to faint.”
