Swimming Pool

SWIMMING POOL

Review: A British mystery author is looking for fresh inspiration for her next novel, she accepts an invitation from her publisher to stay in his rural French holiday home in the South of France. Just as she warms to her new surroundings and starts to unwind, her peace and quiet is interrupted by her publisher’s teenage daughter. Sexual tensions, jealousy and twists all take a dramatic turn in and around the villa’s swimming pool and in the village.

A classy little thriller. I felt there wasn’t really much story but with it being so well directed I never lost concentration or felt the time drag.
