A vintage MGM musical. There are dazzling songs such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, The Trolley Song and also Skip to My Lou. Judy Garland has considered this as her favourite role. At the Academy Awards in 1945 Margaret O’Brien won a Juvenile Award For outstanding child actress of 1944.
