Reuniting the director, writer and stars of Forrest Gump (1994). I have to say that this is a complete mess of a film. A really disappointing film considering the all star cast. A film that has no plot. Even the actors themselves looked as thought they didn’t know why they were in the film or what was going on or what they should be doing. Both Tom Hanks and Paul Bettany starred in The Da Vinci Code (2006) together. Throughout the film the word “here” is spoken by characters approximately 39 times. Based on a 2014 acclaimed graphic novel by Richard McGuire. I just have to say that it is a good job that Tom Hanks hasn’t had to give interviews!!
