Conclusion: 4/5
I thought I would start off by saying that before watching this I knew nothing about Bob Dylan or his music. Directed by James Mangold who also directed Walk the Line (2005). I am not saying this is a bad thing but there were times where I thought Timothee Chalamet was doing an impression. I don’t know that if this was his first feature film maybe it would have made more of an impression on me. I do think that Timothee Chalamet gave a fantastic performance and did the best he could do. I thought Edward Norton was terrific. This is Elle Fanning’s first new movie role in 4 years. Watching this I didn’t quite feel like I got fully engaged with it and felt there was something missing.
