THE KILLER

Review: After a fateful near-miss a ruthless assassin must hunt down his employers before they find him, on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.
Director: David Fincher

Year: 2023
Genre: Action, Adventure, Crime, Drama, Mystery and Thriller
Conclusion: 2/5
This is adapted from a graphic novel named “The Killer” written by Alexis Nolent. This has apparently been a passion project for David Fincher for nearly 20 years. Watching this film I feel that there is nothing new that we haven’t already seen before. I felt that the story subplot was somewhat lacking and felt there wasn’t anything in it to carry the story along. I was rather looking forward to this but I was very disappointed. I have also thought that it is too much like trying to be the John Wick (2014-2023) films. I think that David Fincher and Michael Fassbender are both great although I have seen better work from each of them. However, I do think that Michael Fassbender is very watchable.
