The original French title is Bande de Filles. Watching this I felt that most of what is spoken is physical rather than verbal. I believed in all the characters and what they were all going through. The whole film to me seemed so true to life. I have to say that before watching this I did not realize that Rihanna’s Diamonds is used in one scene. Apparently, the most daunting task for the film was to obtain the rights to the song. This has themes in of age, gender, race and class. I loved this film and I thought it was very thought provoking. I thought about it for days after.
