Conclusion: 3/5
Inspired by a true story although sadly the real-life Gary Johnson passed away early on in production and never got to see the film. I love Richard Linklater and I think he is an amazing director. I do however think that this is his weakest film that he has directed. It is not one of his most memorable films. The themes that this explores are identity and transformation. This film will be ok to watch on a Friday night after a hard week at work.
