Marlowe

MARLOWE

Review: Set in the late 1930’s Bay City, centres around a brooding, down on his luck detective, Philip Marlowe, who is hired to find the ex-lover of a glamourous heiress.
Director: Neil Jordan
Actors: Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Alan Moloney, Stella Stocker, Francois Arnaud, Darrell D’Silva, Ian Hart, Kim DeLonghi, Tony Corvillo, Mitchell Mullen, Patrick Muldoon, Daniela Melchior and Roberto Peralta
Year: 2022
Genre: Crime, Mystery and Thriller
Conclusion: 2/5
A typical Liam Neeson film. I found there was no spark or energy by any of the actors. There are no big surprises. It is like Liam Neeson just turned up to get his pay check. This makes this Liam Neeson’s 100th film. Adapted from a 2014 novel “The Black-Eyed Blonde” by Benjamin Black.
