At the beginning of the production of this film James Gunn was temporary fired. I have to say that I think this is the weakest of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Standing in at 2h 30mins I did find this film far too long and rather baggy at times. It was lovely to see Will Poulter although I have to say how much he was underused. This is Disney’s only film of 2023 to turn a profit at the box office.
