Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY

Review: A murder mystery game hosted by tech billionaire Miles Bron on his private Greek island. While all the friends are on the island it turns into something all too real and someone turns up dead, it is Detective Benoit who is but on the case.
Director: Rian Johnson

Year: 2022
Genre: Comedy, Crime, Drama, Mystery and Thriller
Conclusion: 3/5
A sequel to Knives Out (2019) which was also directed by Rian Johnson. I have to say that I did find it too long, standing in at 2hours 19mins. Half way through the film I did get bored and felt it lost its way. Ethan Hawke’s cameo wasn’t planned in advance, but Hawke happened to be nearby in Budapest shooting another film of his and came to Greece for a day to shoot his scene. Apparently, this film made over 300 million dollars on a 40 million dollar budget. It is reported that Netflix bid something like 469 million dollars for the rights to this film and a second sequel (so 3 altogether).
