Conclusion: 2/5
I think Florence Pugh is amazing and loved her in Lady Macbeth (2016). I enjoyed the first half of the film more than the second half. I did find it half an hour too long. I got to the point with the film where I was getting really tired and was waiting for it to be over. Within the first 10 minutes you know pretty much were the film is heading. I don’t think it could have been made without Florence Pugh. I thought she was brilliant and was the one carrying the film. There have been some really terrible reviews about Harry Styles’ acting but I thought he did a good job. I don’t think he really had that much to work with. I do admire him for talking on this role as Shia LaBeouf was cast and left the project. I don’t think that the film as a whole has a strong subplot and really think it shows.
