Conclusion: 3/5
Andrew Garfield is brilliant in this role. I also enjoyed seeing Michael Shannon, who was excellent. I thought it was a very clever and brave film to make. I was totally engaged all the way through. There wasn’t a single point where I got tired or bored. It felt so true to life, and I felt I could sympathize with each character. This shows how well directed it is by Ramin Bahrani. The director dedicated the film to the late movie critic Roger Ebert.
