Directed by Florian Zeller and written by Christopher Hampton who both collaborated on The Father (2020). Anthony Hopkins is back again but just has a small cameo part. Terrific performances by Hugh Jackman and all the cast. I very much enjoyed the musical soundtrack composed by Hans Zimmer. I found it to be a film with a lot of depth to it. I found it to be very emotional. Most of all I believed in all the characters. I felt their pain and what they were all going through. I felt like I was on the journey with each of them. Considering what a hard subject matter this film is about I think that Florian Zeller was very brave to make it and got the balance just right without it going over the edge. The themes that this film touches on are to do with self-harm and suicide. This is by no means an easy watch.
