WHEN HARRY MET SALLY

Review: Harry and Sally are very good friends. They have been very good friends for years but fear that sex would ruin their friendship.
Director: Rob Reiner
Actors: Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan and Carrie Fisher
Year: 1989
Genre: Comedy, Drama and Romance
Conclusion: 4/5
One of the greatest films ever to be made. One thing that makes this film special is the chemistry between Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. Nora Ephron, the writer was happy with the film but just not the title of the film. When deciding on a title for this the people creating the film came up with names such as “Just Friends”, “Playing Melancholy Baby”, “Boy Meets Girl”, “Blue Moon”, “Words of Love”, “It Had To Be You”, “Harry, This Is Sally” and the last one “How They Met”. At the Bafta’s in 1990 this won one award and that was for Best Screenplay – Original (Nora Ephron). This is on Barry Norman’s list of 100 Greatest Films of all time that he produced at the start of 2012 in the Radio Times.
