Director: Richard Linklater
Actors: Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy
Year: 1995
Genre: Drama and Romance
Conclusion: 5/5
A lovely engaging romantic film. Well directed by Richard Linklater. Both Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy do a fantastic job. It is hard to believe that they are actors because the conversation is so natural. They just let the whole film roll on. You could watch and listen to them for hours. This is the first of a trilogy. The two others are Before Sunset and Before Midnight. The screenplay to this film was written in 11 days. One film critic said about this film ‘A thought-provoking, likable, entertaining, beautiful, and well-acted piece of romance…’.
